Also, due to the stark difference in property rates in Mumbai suburbs compared to South Mumbai, it has witnessed an increase in the housing demand. Moreover, in this post-COVID era, the hybrid work model has made people urge for bigger living spaces with excellent social infrastructure. In India, real estate investors usually approach areas that are emerging or currently under development. Therefore, western suburbs have a higher potential to yield returns than areas where price growth is saturated or at its peak.
